This policy explains what Fees & Figures collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. Short version: we do not sell your data and we collect as little as we can.

What we collect
Analytics
We record aggregate visit data — pages viewed, referring site, approximate country, device type. This is used to understand which articles are useful. We do not build profiles of individual readers and we do not attempt to identify you.
If you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply. If you subscribe to a newsletter, we store your address with our email provider until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribing is one click and every email contains the link.
What we never collect
We do not collect payment details, account credentials, or any data from the platforms we review. Purchases happen entirely on the vendor's own site.
Cookies
- Affiliate cookies. Clicking an affiliate link sets a cookie from that company or its affiliate network, so they can credit the referral. It typically lasts 30 to 90 days. See our affiliate disclosure.
- Analytics cookies. Used to count visits.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them; only the affiliate attribution stops functioning, which costs us money, not you.
Third parties
Data may pass through providers that host or serve this site and handle email delivery, and through the affiliate networks named in our affiliate disclosure. Each has its own privacy policy. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data with anyone.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK (GDPR): you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA): you may request disclosure or deletion of personal information and opt out of any sale — we do not sell personal information. Email hello@feesandfigures.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Retention
Email correspondence is kept for two years. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is aggregate and retained for up to 26 months.
Children
This site is aimed at people running a business and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the homepage.
