Who runs this

Fees & Figures is written and maintained by Fees & Figures, based in Japan. It is an independent site — no platform pays us for coverage, and none of them see an article before it goes live.

How we test

Most sites in this category imply hands-on experience with everything they review. We cannot afford to run six platforms at once — at list price that is over $600 a month — so instead of pretending, we tell you exactly how close we got to each one.

1. Every review declares its access level at the top: Paid account, Free trial, Free plan only, or Not hands-on — published pricing only. Never implied, never buried.
2. We show the arithmetic. Fees come from each vendor's published pricing, and we show what they leave you at specific revenue levels. You can check every number yourself.
3. We use the free trials. Most platforms offer one, and we say how many days we actually had. When a trial cannot answer the question — usually about payouts or hard limits — we pay for a month and label the review as a paid account.
4. We say who it is wrong for. Every review names the situation where the tool is a bad purchase.

What "access level" means

• Paid account — we subscribed with our own money and ran the product for the period stated.
• Free trial — full features for the trial window; we state how long.
• Free plan only — we used the permanent free tier; paid-tier claims come from documentation.
• Not hands-on — pricing and feature comparison only, from published sources. We still publish these, because the arithmetic is useful, but we will not tell you how it feels to use.

How these articles are written

Drafts are written with AI assistance. The pricing arithmetic, the access levels, and the judgment about who a tool is wrong for are ours, and every article is read and checked before it goes live. We say so because a site that asks you to trust its disclosures should not be quiet about how it works.

What this does not change: no vendor sees a draft, no ranking is for sale, and nothing here claims an experience we did not have.

What we do not do

• We do not accept payment for a review, a ranking position, or a rating.
• We do not claim hands-on experience we do not have. If we have not used it, the review says so at the top.
• We do not republish a vendor's own feature list as if we had tested it.
• We do not use "best" or "#1" as a claim we cannot support with a measurement.
• We do not remove a criticism because a partner asked us to.

Corrections

Pricing changes constantly and we get things wrong. If a number here is out of date or incorrect, write to hello@feesandfigures.com and we will fix it and note the change at the top of the article.
